Most deals go smoothly. These habits keep it that way.
Before you pay
- Never send a deposit by EVC Plus, Zaad, Sahal or eDahab before you have seen the item in person.
- For cars and land, check the papers (logbook, title deed) and the seller's ID. Ask a trusted mechanic or lawyer when the amount is large.
- A price far below the market is the most common scam signal.
Meeting a seller or buyer
- Meet in a busy public place in daylight: a bank, a mall, a petrol station.
- Bring a friend when carrying cash. Count money in front of the other party.
- Do not go to a private home for a first meeting.
Online behaviour
- Suuq never asks for payment on a seller's behalf and never sends payment links.
- Do not share your sign-in code with anyone, including people claiming to be from Suuq.
- Report suspicious ads with the Report button. Our team reviews every report within 24 hours.
