Terms of use
Plain-language rules for using Suuq. [TO BE REVIEWED BY A LAWYER]
The service
Suuq is a classifieds platform. We list ads from sellers; we are not a party to any sale and do not hold money for buyers or sellers.
Your account
One account per phone number. You are responsible for what is posted from your account. Keep your sign-in codes private.
Ads
- Post only items and services you are allowed to sell, in the right category, with a true description and your own photos.
- No weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or anything illegal in Somalia.
- We may remove ads and suspend accounts that break these rules or receive repeated reports.
Boosts
Boost payments are made by mobile money and confirmed by our team. A boost that is approved runs for the days bought and is not refundable once live. Rejected payments are refunded to the paying number.
Liability
We work hard to keep the platform safe but cannot guarantee any ad or user. Follow the safety tips. To the extent the law allows, Suuq is not liable for losses from deals made through the platform.
